Equality isn’t cool anymore; ✨equity✨ is where it’s at. There is nothing wrong with understanding some people need more help than others. That is not where the equity conversation goes awry. It’s in areas like criminal justice where equitable outcomes would mean treating people differently under the law. That is just plain wrong.
