Nov 18, 2018 · 2017 Malibu throws code P0299 and engine de-rates during extremely cold weather. Take it to Mills - they say I need to replace the CAC (charge air cooler). $1,100 with the newer design (fully at my expense). They replace the cooler.

Apr 8, 2018 · 1. On scan tool, torque sensors 1 and 2 should be in the 0.25 to 4.75 volt range. 2. If either are out of range, disconnect the wires and jump the 5 volt Red wire to the Purple wire, the scanner should read torque sensor 2 at 5 volts, if so jump the Purple wire to the Black wire and torque sensor 2 should read 0 volts.

Sep 9, 2019 · Hi guys, My 2013 Malibu has the same issue, broken cam gear in top. I was able to move the gear part on top flap by hand while the car was running, heard the air change, crawled out and the air is coming out defrost vents. Heres a video that clued me in, the little broken piece he shows is exactly what was broken in mine.
LT glove box pin hinge (metal) missing cant find part anywhere
Apr 8, 2021 · I recently bought a 2018 Malibu LT (1.5L) from carvana and the car came missing one of the metal pins that hold the glove box compartment to the glove box frame. This makes the glove box flop to one side when you open it, and also makes it to were you need to support it up when closing it for it to line up.
