Nov 26, 2024 · My question is about the Mac Mini M4 Pro with 48GB RAM, 12-core CPU/16-core GPU and 512GB storage. Gamers are complaining about heat and noise on here and other forums. I am not a gamer but am wondering whether the following would cause internal temps to regularly go over 150F/65C and/or cause the fans to keep running:

Oct 23, 2024 · After upgrading to Sequoia 15.0.1, my Apple Watch (Ultra in this case) stopped unlocking my Mac. This is what I did to resolve. On the Mac go into Settings->Touch ID & Password and turn off the setting that allows the watch to unlock the Mac. Quit Settings, then put the Mac to sleep (close the lid, etc.). A shutdown or reboot should also work ...

It's an awesome journal app that is available on iOS, macOS, iPadOS and through a browser. I've been using it for over a decade. On the iPhone, it integrates with Apple's Journal Suggestions which is very cool.

I went to the Apple Store and had it replaced. The second unit is definitely quieter but the nose is still there. Exchange it again or Return with-in 14 days for a full refund.
