Jemez River - Wikipedia
The Jemez River is a tributary of the Rio Grande in eastern Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. The river is formed by the confluence of the East Fork Jemez River and San Antonio Creek, which drain a number of tributaries in the area of the Jemez Mountains and Santa Fe National Forest.

East Fork Jemez River
The East Fork of the Jemez River flows south and east out of the Valles Caldera and joins with the San Antonio River at Battleship Rock to form the Jemez River. Most of its length is isolated and away from the highway.
From Battleship Rock, the Jemez flows 14.68 miles to its confluence with Rio Guadalupe. The Upper Jemez River is comprised of approximately 11,950 acres located on the Jemez Ranger District (Santa Fe National Forest), in Sandoval County, New Mexico.
