Oh and Wynona Ryder bowled 3 games after doing a scene from her movie there, The Darwin Awards. Holiday Bowl is a significant icon and true historical landmark and for many of us, a tremendous loss.

If a bowl is externally vented and you have a restriction this will increase fuel flow or richen the mixture. Another function of the Air Cleaner, intended or not, is to straighten the airflow.

I was also able to retain interchangeability with all the original float hardware and fuel inlet block, so this float bowl cover can be directly interchanged with an original.

Dec 9, 2024 · I run a mechanical fuel pump, and use the electric pump with a toggle switch to prime the carb, as the fuel bowl evaporates in a week or so. The problem with the oil pressure switch connecting the electric pump is you loose the ability to prime the carb.

Jan 1, 2025 · Was able to do some poking around this Holiday season in Casa Grande, AZ They had a fire in the office/storage complex about a month ago and lost a fair amount of inventory. What a sad deal! I expect they will need some new facilities to work and it does not look like much has been salvaged yet. On the bright side, there is so much there!

Oct 29, 2009 · You might want to check if the fuel level in the bowl is high enough to be pulled thru the jets easily. Pulling the choke often helps a low fuel level flow a bit better through the jets. I had an air cooled VW once that acted that way if a tiny bit of dirt got past the filter.
