Apr 11, 2023 · John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum: A lot of people have this one lower on the list but I really enjoy this film. It’s essentially the middle film in the trilogy that is films 2,3, & 4. So because it’s the middle film it gets to have the most fun and that exactly what this film does.

Mar 27, 2023 · Probably the best visuals in any John Wick movie too (those church scenes and Osaka were outstanding highlights). 2 and 3 come out on top because of their originality. 4 doesn't really expand the world in new ways, just gives us a lot of what the other entries have already delivered, just with an even larger budget to accomplish them.

The movie felt familiar and original at the same time and its surprising success would spawn one of the greatest action franchises in film history.

John Wick 2 is my absolute favorite in the series. Walked in without seeing any trailers for it and was mind blown by the plot redirection halfway through the film. The ending scene to this day is still one of my favorite buildup cliffhangers just because of the way the tension rises in just visuals and soundtrack alone.
