CHARICLO (Khariklo) - Theban Nymph of Greek Mythology
She was the wife of the earth-born spartos Everes and a close friend of the goddess Athena. Athena was forced to blind Chariclo's son Tiresias, a famous seer, as punishment for seeing her naked but in recompense the nymph obtained gifts for her son from the goddess.
