Oct 8, 2021 · Comparing the 2 I think breeze has the upper hand and they’ve been flying 5 months vs 23 years. Same business model day trips but at least with Breeze you have a chance of being based somewhere decent out of training (CHS TPA). Better than up rooting your family to FNT. Same first year pay but upgrade at breeze in less than a year at 130hr.

In all seriousness Breeze will attract quality pilots for the most part, plenty in this 2020 hiring wave, will be E Z. Pilot shortage is a myth! Breeze will have pilots to select from Regionals, ACMI, LLCs (Allegiant & Sun Country perhaps).

Oct 1, 2024 · Breeze operates in secondary routes where there’s no direct competition. If we ever go into ORD it won’t be because we have a base, it would be from some random city no legacy airline has service to. It’s going to be interesting to see what the route structure looks like if we do get all the 120 A220s.
