May 27, 2023 · Luffy's naming scheme is gomu gomu no 'gun/weapon/object'. Gear 2nd is base with jet between it. Gear 3rd is gear 2nd but gigant instead of jet. Post-timeskip is where it gets a bit complicated. At first it seems random but everything has an animal name in them, Kong gun, elephant gun, grizzly magnum, rhino schneider. It's animal + weapon.

May 3, 2019 · Terms like that are mostly made up and any gun can be called or advertised as such. Same with the term sniper rifle, assault rifle, PDW, magnum, etc. But generally like those other terms they tend to have specific characteristics, in the case of an elephant gun usually a gun that shoots a very large heavily projectile in an odd caliber.

Jun 29, 2022 · There's another iron sights sniper in the game, but unfortunately it's a massive disappointment compared to the Elephant Gun. It's underleveled when you find it and is impossible to farm at max level. It's called the Rider, and unlike the Elephant gun it gives up damage for increased stats elsewhere.

Jul 11, 2018 · The Elephant Gun for me is a mid range sniper; if I want something for truly long range work, I will use a generic Jakobs. For melee or point blank range, I'll usually use the Swordsplosion or another shotgun.

Nov 15, 2018 · Elephant Gun might be one of the few guns that gets worse with a synergy. Yes, it addresses the elephant in the room (hence the extremely appropriate name), but...yeah, the single projectile is worse.

The people who designed the elephant rifle were morons and probably don't even play the game they worked on, boggles my mind they even have jobs. They gave a rifle functionally the same bullet spread and range as a double barrel shotgun, and the projectile literally fizzles out and stops doing damage past a pitifully low range, just like a shotgun.
