Oct 31, 2019 · Hello, I had Panoptix trifocal lens surgery 4 days ago in my left eye, and am having the same done in my right eye in 4 days. For me the halos are very bright, clear rings (3 rings) around every round light source, worse at night but also happens during daylight.

Mar 26, 2022 · It has been almost 3 months since I had the Panoptix lens implanted. I am having extremely poor night vision in that eye -- multiple rings and lots of flare. It is happening during the day now too. In bright sunlight the railroad crossing signs or anything reflective look like rainbows. Just last night developed a new problem.

In 2019 it went to -10.00 and before the cataract operation it was probably -16.00 (that’s a guess, my doctor didn't tell me the power, I will ask them next time for my records). The right was practically blind, even with a -8.00 contact lens.

Following the surgery - I find reading up close or on my computer has been great! (Although I do need lots of light to read)... But - anything beyond about six feet - is blurry.

I know that anxiety, not only about the surgery, but making a very important decision on what you have implanted in your eye for the rest of your life. Oct 17, 2023 · The Panoptix is no different than any other IOL. All of them have positives and negatives nothing will replace your natural lens perfectly. In my opinion much of how your vision settles out after your IOL is implanted is related to neuroadaptation and your willingness to adapt.
