Over the last century, New road became increasingly rundown dominated by the needs of vehicles rather than people.

Our work has transformed this run down city centre street into a pedestrian dominated shared space, providing a high quality route through an important cultural quarter. New Road, Brighton was one of the first shared space schemes to be introduced in the country.
