President Donald Trump threatened to put a "restriction" on the Washington Commanders' plans to build a new stadium in D.C. over refusal to revert back to their old name.
Trump followed up with a separate post Sunday afternoon, saying “if they don’t change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins,’ and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, ‘Washington Commanders,’ I won’t make a deal for them to build a Stadium in Washington,” claiming his original statement had “totally blown up.”
