The Trump administration has halted DOGE's firings of hundreds of federal employees working on the nation's nuclear weapons programs.

Some of the fired probationary employees included on-the-ground staff at facilities where nuclear weapons are built.

Trump officials are trying to undo terminations at the nuclear weapons agency, and critics say Elon Musk's DOGE team didn't know what the agency does.
