Strong storms continued to move across Alabama on Sunday night after a very busy day. However, a tornado watch has expired for south and east Alabama, and the threat for stronger storms appears to be lessening, though it is not over.

At least eight people have been killed in a wide swath of violent storms, flooding and tornadoes that hit the South and Midwest.
