Forward progress of Sepulveda Fire near 405 Freeway stopped, evacuation warnings lifted
It was first reported just after 11 p.m. Wednesday near northbound lanes of the freeway in Sherman Oaks, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Forward progress stopped of new brush fire in LA’s Sepulveda Pass
Watch Duty, a nonprofit that tracks wildfires, said that as of 11:26 p.m. the fire was estimated to be 10 acres, burning in heavy brush east of the freeway in the Sepulveda Pass. By about 12:23 it had grown to 20 acres, though fire crews were making good progress on the blaze, Watch Duty reported.

LOS ANGELES - A fire broke out along the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass near Sherman Oaks. The "Sepulveda Fire" was reported around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway. The fire was initially reported at one acre by the Los Angeles Fire Department, but no new information have been provided after 11 p.m.
