The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. the Food and Drug Administration are investigating a Salmonella outbreak in several states linked to recalled frozen sprouted beans.

Frozen sprouted bean products from the Deep brand have been recalled after 11 people became ill from salmonella.

Federal food and health officials have connected a salmonella outbreak impacting patients in 10 states to frozen sprouted beans that have been recalled. Since last fall, 11 people have been diagnosed with salmonella,
