Zakai Zeigler left Tennessee basketball's vs. Kentucky with a right knee injury in the first half, but returned to play all 20 second-half minutes.

Rick Barnes was worried because of the way Zakai Zeigler reacted. After driving to the rim with 2:17 left in the first half Tuesday night against Kentucky, Zeigler’s right knee buckled awkwardly and he fell to the floor after being fouled.

Zakai Zeigler sat for the final 7:10 of the first half between Tennessee basketball and Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Commodores outscored UT 20-9 then.

Despite the comeback, things aren't all looking up for Rick Barnes and the Volunteers. Near the end of the first half, star guard Zakai Zeigler came up limping after suffering an apparent knee injury and immediately hobbled off the floor.

Zakai Zeigler was injured late in the first half of Tennessee basketball's game against Kentucky on Tuesday. He returned in the second half.
