PHOENIX - A teenager accused of threatening a mass shooting at a dozen schools in the Valley has been arrested. Phoenix Police say officers learned of a social media threat on Sept. 12.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A teen boy has been arrested after police say he made threats against 12 Phoenix-area schools. On Thursday, Sept. 12, Phoenix police were notified of a mass shooting threat posted on social media involving a dozen Valley schools. Detectives were assigned, and the schools named in the threat were notified.

The threat against Pine Point School in Ponsford came in Thursday aroujnd 7 p.m., according to the Becker County Sheriff's Office.
