The Kwara State Police Command has launched a major rescue operation after two senior local government officials and five others were abducted by gunmen along the Omu-Aran/Ilorin Road on Friday.

Gunmen have abducted senior officials of the Kwara State Local Government Service Commission along the Omu-Aran/Ilorin Road.
