Following his casting news as King Herod, Josh Gad has dropped out of Hollywood Bowl's upcoming 'Jesus Christ Superstar' concert.

John Stamos will meet Jesus face-to-face on stage at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend, replacing the ailing Josh Gad as King Herod. Cynthia Erivo leads the production as the superstar that is Jesus Christ with Adam Lambert as her foil, Judas.
