The New York Giants easily cruised by the New York Jets with a 31-12 victory at MetLife Stadium. Brian Daboll gave the first team on both sides of the football a decent complement of snaps after the two teams shared the practice field twice during the week. It was the Giants who outgained the Jets 478 to 333 ( yards ).

The crosstown rivals meet at MetLife Stadium tonight at 7 p.m. ET after both teams secured victories in their preseason openers last week.

Justin Fields and the New York Jets' passing offense struggled against the Giants. Fields, who signed a two-year, $40 million deal to replace Aaron Rodgers, completed just one of five passes for 4 yards in the Jets' 31-12 preseason loss Saturday night.
