On the September 16th episode of WWE Raw, the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) will challenge Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. This will mark the first time that Balor and McDonagh will defend the titles in a televised match.

Cracks continued to form in The New Day after Finn Balor & JD McDonagh successfully defended their tag titles for the first time in their 71-day reign.

On the June 23 edition of Raw, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day beat Awesome Truth to capture World Tag Team Championship.

The New Day had The Judgment Day defeated, but as Woods pinned McDonagh, the referee was dealing with the brawl on the outside between Kofi, Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and Carlito, and the LWO (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, & Dragon Lee).

Raw continues to build up toward Bad Blood. Only two weeks remain until the PLE event. Tonight's episode at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon should help build momentum and fill up the card for the show.

CM Punk kickstarted the proceedings by addressing fans and his rival Drew McIntyre. Talking about his upcoming match at Bad Blood, Punk revealed how he was going to war with his opponent. He admitted the dangers of a Hell in a Cell match but was willing to stake his career to take McIntyre down at the upcoming premium live event.
