Fort Worth on Friday morning, drivers are being asked to continue exercising caution as the potential for black ice begins and stretches into Saturday morning. Area highways were wet Friday morning with the potential for slick spots due to freezing temps.

The National Weather Service said a tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate on raised surfaces, such as bridges, and some areas could get up to a quarter inch. But the main travel impacts are expected to be from sleet and snow.
