Ford Recalls 4 Years’ Worth of Bronco SUVs over Rear Shocks
Ford is recalling 149,449 examples of its body-on-frame Bronco because of rear shocks that can fail due to corrosion. This recall only affects Broncos with external reservoir shocks, which includes Badlands and Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package.

If you drive these Ford SUVs or trucks, bring them to your dealer to be sure the battery is working properly, the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration said.

Ford Bronco Sport and Maverick Are Recalled to Fix Faulty Batteries
The problem is due to a manufacturing defect in 12-volt starter batteries used in these vehicles. To fix the problem, Ford dealerships will replace them with new absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries, free of charge. Owners who already paid for new batteries out of pocket will be eligible for reimbursement from the automaker.
