AccuWeather is forecasting vibrant fall foliage in parts of the Northeast but especially the Midwest. Pastelok says the vibrant red, orange and yellow leaves will most likely be found this autumn in a zone that stretches from the interior Northeast and Great Lakes through the Mississippi River Valley.

PORTLAND (WGME) -- Now that we’re in mid to late September, the leaves are starting to change color across the state. The most color can be found in the higher elevations and across the north. Here's a look at the latest fall foliage update from throughout the region.
