Elijah Caudill, a 24-year-old man, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder with sentencing enhancers for stabbing four people on the 16th Street Mall last weekend,

The family of one of the two victims killed in last weekend's series of stabbings in the 16th Street Mall area​ of downtown Denver says he struggled with mental health and was living on the street.
