A Cape Cod man who came into contact with electrical wires at a Barnstable home Sunday evening has died of his injuries, according to the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.

A 31-year-old Cape Cod man was electrocuted and a second person was injured when they came in contact with electrical wires, according to investigators.

Two people were taken to hospitals Sunday after contacting electrical wires in Hyannis, according to local police. Police referred to the incident, which happened at a Hamden Circle residence shortly after 5 p.m., as an “industrial accident.”
