Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro public schools will all be closed Friday, the divisions announced. A snow and ice storm Sunday night into Monday morning has left roads throughout the area ice-covered and led to all three school divisions closing every day this week.

Cincinnati Public Schools will be closed Wednesday due to extreme cold, the school district said Tuesday afternoon. Schools are closed for all students, but the district is asking staff to report to school when they are able.
