How to Download Music From YouTube's Audio Library One option available to anyone with a YouTube account is the free music library in YouTube Studio.

For users who want to do a bit more with their background music, however, YouTube today is expanding this library with a selection of 150 new royalty-tracks.

While the library at YouTube currently – at launch – includes around 150 tracks of instrumental-based music, this collection is set to expand rapidly very, very soon.

The library can be searched by genre, mood, instrument and duration and tracks can be downloaded in mp3 format and, YouTube promises, used not just on the site, but for any creative endeavor.

That process is set to change, however, as Google has announced that, starting today, the YouTube Audio Library can now be searched for both free and ad-supported music.
