The underwater videographer and diver lost his camera off the coast of Vancouver Island. Little did he know, a thrilling footage awaited.

Colin Yager, a student at Marshwood High School, said he had his phone in one hand recording and his fishing rod in the other, which had just hooked a striped bass when the whale breached.
