Virgil van Dijk has called on Liverpool supporters to show Everton the full 'power' of Anfield as he admitted his side are keen to get back on track after recent disappointments. The Reds finally return to action on Wednesday night when they welcome David Moyes’ side to Anfield.

According to reports, Liverpool are among the clubs in the race to sign Ajax starlet Jorrel Hato and a £40m bid ‘would be accepted’. The 19-year-old has shone for Eredivisie giants Ajax over the past couple of seasons as he’s emerged as one of the best young defenders in Europe.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is not the only Liverpool player whose contract is running down. Captain Virgil van Dijk and star forward Mohamed Salah are in the same position.
