The Cotton Bowl semifinal is set to be played as scheduled in North Texas on Friday, Jan. 10 despite severe inclement weather expected in the region. Weather forecasts project that the area could receive more than 4 inches of snow only days before the game.

As snow clouds gather over North Texas ahead of the CFP Semifinal between the Texas Longhorns and the Ohio State Buckeyes, all eyes are on the Cotton Bowl to see what the impact of the winter weather might be.

That wouldn’t be a big deal, but Ohio State and Texas are slated to face each other on Friday night at the Cotton Bowl, which will be played at the very much domed AT&T Stadium.
