SpaceX Crew-10 mission successfully docked at the International Space Station, setting the stage to rescue two stranded NASA astronauts who have been stuck in space for months.

Hague and Gorbunov arrived at the station in late September, on SpaceX's Crew-9 mission. Williams and Wilmore have been in orbit since early June, when they launched on the first crewed mission of Boeing's Starliner spacecraft.

Wilmore and Williams will return on the SpaceX Dragon Freedom, the same spacecraft that transported the Crew-9 astronauts to the ISS. The astronauts' return is not a rescue mission, as their extended stay was planned last summer to accommodate crew rotation and space station operations.
