The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking for monetary donations to help the three kids now recovering after spending years living in a Pontiac home that their mom abandoned them in.

"Children of the Sky" will be beamed back to Earth as part of the upcoming Intuitive Machines IM-2 moon lander mission.

Schools here in the city and across our area will be off this week for midwinter break which means of course some parents could probably use a break.
