Just after noon Sunday, the mangled helicopter was raised from the bed of the reservoir, and was pulled by a Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office boat to a dock where a fleet of tow trucks picked it up and drove it away. Officials say the helicopter, which Campana called "Miss Bessie," had sunken partially into the soil under the water.
