The FAA has dramatically cut the number of flights coming in and out of troubled Newark Liberty International Airport for at least the next several months, federal officials said Tuesday.
The FAA has extended its ground delay advisory for Newark Liberty International Airport until Wednesday morning.
Flights through Newark will now be capped at 28 departures and 28 arrivals per hour through June 15, and every Saturday from September through December, the FAA said.
