OSLO, March 24 (Reuters) - German startup Isar Aerospace said on Monday it has postponed the launch of a space rocket from Norway due to adverse weather conditions and will try again at a later time.
Long Beach-based Rocket Lab USA Inc. announced a deal to acquire Mynaric, a German manufacturer of satellite components, in a deal that could be valued at up to $150 million.
The company that developed the new rocket, dubbed Spectrum, is German-based Isar Aerospace. Spectrum is 28 metres tall, composed of two stages and uses oxygen and propane as propellant.
Unfavourable winds on Monday afternoon meant that the Spectrum rocket could not be launched from the island of Andøya in northern Norway, said Isar Aerospace, which is headquartered in Munich.
