Five players, a head coach and an assistant coach were all ejected from the Detroit Pistons vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game in Minneapolis on Sunday, March 30, after a fight broke out on the court.

Five players and two coaches were ejected from the Minnesota Timberwolves-Detroit Pistons game after a scuffle broke out in the second quarter.

Five players and two coaches were ejected after a hard foul by Detroit's Ron Holland II on Minnesota center Naz Reid. Reid took exception, as did his teammate Donte DiVencenzo, who originally stepped in to separate the two before wrestling Holland to the ground. Players and coaches from both teams then jumped in to the mele.

The Detroit Pistons are on the precipice of locking down a playoff spot, but the wait continued over the weekend. The Pistons' magic number did not change due to both the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic winning.

After their brawl with the Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid have been handed one game suspensions.

Detroit's Isaiah Stewart was suspended for two games and four other players from the Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves drew one-game suspensions for their roles in an on-court altercation between the teams earlier this week,

Pistons center Isaiah Stewart received a two-game ban. Pistons forward Ron Holland II and guard Marcus Sasser will have to sit out one game. Timberwolves forward Naz Reid and guard Donte DiVincenzo were also suspended one game apiece.

The incident began when Ron Holland II fouled Naz Reid with 8:36 left in the second quarter of the Timberwolves’ 123-104 victory over the Pistons in Minneapolis.
