ESPN announced its Sunday Night Baseball schedule for the first half of the 2025 MLB season, which leans heavily on World Series and MVP favorites.

The first half of the Los Angeles Dodgers 2025 schedule includes three ESPN ‘Sunday Night Baseball’ telecasts against the Cubs (on April 13), Mets (May 25), and Yankees (June 1).

League sources confirmed a report from SiriusXM analyst Jim Duquette, a former New York Mets general manager, saying Alonso’s camp offered the Mets a three-year deal with opt-outs. Duquette reported the offer was only available to the Mets. The former exec added that Alonso’s agent Scott Boras declined to comment.

There are reportedly still ongoing conversations between the New York Mets and Pete Alonso, although the team is hoping for a relatively quick solution.
