A Collin County judge’s reported decision could keep details of the divorce from spilling into Ken Paxton’s U.S. Senate race.

The order meant details in the case, which involves allegations of adultery, would not be public as the Texas attorney general challenges Senator John Cornyn in the 2026 primary.

The edit comes after court filings revealed that Angela Paxton filed for divorce on July 10, citing "biblical grounds" and claiming "recent discoveries" led to her decision. The couple has reportedly been living apart since June 2024. The filing also accuses Ken Paxton of adultery.
