President Donald Trump, who made the deportation of immigrants a central part of his campaign and presidency, said Wednesday that the U.S. will use a detention center at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to hold tens of thousands of the “worst criminal aliens.

President Donald Trump has said he wants to send 30,000 "criminal illegal aliens" to the notorious Guantanamo Bay US military base in Cuba. Making matters worse, Guantanamo is a remote, closed military base "which the US government has used to evade legal protections and public scrutiny" in the past.
