The Boston Celtics will have a new owner in the next few years. Now that they have sold to Bill Chisholm, they will soon have a new ultimate decision-maker. While Brad Stevens is the GM and President of Basketball Operations, he still has to run any decision he is going to make by the owner. He had a great relationship with Wyc Grousbeck.

Stevens first met incoming Celtics owner Bill Chisholm a couple of weeks ago but hasn't had much communication with his new boss yet.

Stevens didn’t play much of a role in the sale process — but believes it will be business as usual with new ownership.
