Netflix and Amazon’s Prime Video will share distribution rights to three National Football League (NFL) games played on Christmas Day, the league confirmed on Tuesday. The move comes several months after Netflix debuted the league’s inaugural Christmas Day games on the streaming platform.

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is joining Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) in airing NFL games on Christmas, the league announced on Tuesday. Amazon's game will be a part of its Thursday Night Football package, which the e-commerce and tech giant has had since 2017 on its Prime Video service.

Building on last season's holiday success, the NFL is planning a Christmas Day tripleheader in 2025. Two games will air on Netflix on Dec. 25 followed by a Thursday nightcap on Amazon Prime, the league confirmed Tuesday at the annual league meeting in Palm Beach,
