NBA All-Star weekend concluded Sunday with the All-Star Game. Team Shaquille O'Neal emerged victorious from the event's first-ever four-team tournament, and Golden State's Stephen Curry fittingly won MVP in front of a Chase Center crowd in San Francisco.

Draymond Green’s criticism of this year’s NBA All-Star Game had fans reminiscing about the classic East-West battles of the past or brainstorming ways to revive the competition. Some even proposed a bold USA-versus-the-World format to reflect the league’s global talent.

Front Office Sports reported on Wednesday that the 2025 NBA All-Star Game averaged just 4.7 million viewers across all TNT platforms. That is down 13 percent when compared to last year’s NBA All-Star Game.

All-Star game drew plenty of scrutiny from players and fans alike, and for good reason, the NBA failed again to make the All-Star game experience, enticing.
