Buddy Matthews has shown his support for his wife, Rhea Ripley, on social media. He posted a message while Ripley's match was ongoing at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.

The WWE Universe was indignant earlier this week when the company announced the non-renewal of R-Truth. Per Sports Illustrated, the plan was to let him walk, with TNA already expressing interest in bringing him back to the company.

WWE advertised that every MITB competitor would appear on the show in addition to John Cena, Logan Paul, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. The only match WWE hyped for the show was a six-woman tag match featuring Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss taking on Giulia, Naomi and Roxanne Perez.

Tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown promises to raise tensions ahead of Money in the Bank 2025, with a stacked six-woman tag team match featuring the contenders from the upcoming ladder match.
