Four people died after a shooting Sunday in south Wichita, a Sedgwick County Emergency Communications supervisor said. Shortly before 8 p.m., Wichita police posted on X that they were investigating a shooting inside a home.

According to the Wichita Police Department, just before 6 p.m., they received a call about a death in the 1700 block of Santa Fe. When officers arrived, they found a man dead of apparent gunshot wounds inside a home.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Five people are dead after an incident in south Wichita Sunday evening. Sedgwick County officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting at 5:44 p.m. in the 1700 block of Santa Fe. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

(WICHITA, Kan.) Police in Wichita, Kansas are investigating after several people were fatally shot Sunday night. According to the Wichita Police Department, officers responded to a call on South Santa Fe Avenue where they found a man dead inside a home with a gunshot wound.

That man was identified as Zachary Miller of Wichita, Wichita police spokesperson Andrew Ford said Sunday. Officers responded to a report of gunfire at a bar in the 2700 block of North Broadway. They arrived and found Miller with gunshot wounds to his torso and lower body.

Emergency crews are currently in south Wichita, where four people have died. It happened around 7 p.m. at a residence in the 1900 block of S. Laura St. and the 1700 block of Santa Fe St. Sedgwick County Dispatch confirmed to KSN that four people are dead and that there is a large police presence in the area.
