Reynolds sunk the go-ahead basket with 12.8 seconds remaining to lift the Frogs to a key win over the Wildcats.

K-State players lamented the final play of the night. It went poorly from the beginning when Tang instructed his team to call a timeout after the ball crossed midcourt. But the timeout was called too early and the Wildcats had to in-bound the ball from the backcourt.

The Horned Frogs scored the final seven points of the game and survived a late push from the Wildcats. Both Dug McDaniel and Coleman Hawkins had opportunities to win the game in the final seconds for K-State, but they were unable to convert.
