Downtown Tampa has been transformed for the Women's NCAA Final Four tournament. We wanted to know what goes into picking a host city and what made Tampa the right choice.

TAMPA, Fla. - The stage is set, and the teams have landed in Tampa ahead of the NCAA Women's Final Four. The City of Tampa expects at least 30,000 people to visit the event. "This is way more than three games," said Claire Lessinger, the VP of Events with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission.

Tampa hosts the NCAA Women's Final Four April 4–6, with free events all weekend — from a GloRilla concert at Curtis Hixon Park on Saturday to a team practice at Amalie Arena that same day. Find more info here.
