LONDON -Jannik Sinner spoke of his pride at overcoming months of adversity on and off the court after claiming his first Wimbledon title by dethroning rival Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday. The ice-cool 23-year-old beat the Spaniard 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 to become Italy's first Wimbledon singles champion and claim his fourth Grand Slam title.
Sinner has several endorsement deals with major brands. In 2024, those deals netted him $15 million and made up the majority of his net worth. His sponsors include Nike, Head, Rolex, Panini, Gucci, Lavazza, Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura and FastWeb S.p.A.
Carlos Alcaraz said he could hold his head high despite being unseated from his Wimbledon throne by Jannik Sinner on Sunday and the Spaniard praised their hot rivalry for being several notches higher than the others on the men's tour.
Sinner, who is from San Candido, Italy, has been linked to model Laila Hasanovic with rumors intensifying after a July 4 Instagram post from Wimbledon. The World No. 1 has shot down these rumors emphasizing that he is not in a relationship.
World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz will look to advance to his third consecutive Wimbledon singles final with a win on Friday.
