The field is narrowing down in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Seven teams have already booked their ticket to the second round. That includes the top seed in each conference, the West's OKC Thunder and the East's Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Denver Nuggets became the latest team to advance as they won Game 7 at home in blowout fashion against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. The Nuggets are moving on to face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder, who cruised to a first-round sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies and were the first team to reach the second round.

Sixteen teams in total make the NBA playoffs, eight teams from both the Eastern and Western Conference. The top six seeds in each conference advance based on the regular season record. The final two seeds in each conference are determined by the NBA Play-In Tournament.
